On Walpurgisnacht April 30, 1966, The Church Of Satan Was Founded By Anton Lavey When He Ritualistically Shaved His Head, Pronounced Himself The Black Pope, And Proclaimed It “Anno Satanas” Year One Of The Satanic Age. This Year We Will Celebrate The Church Of Satan’s 59th Anniversary or Anno Satanas LIX. LaVey Promoted His New Organization By Curating A Topless Nightclub In Old North Beach San Francisco Called The "Witches Sabbath."
